It is important to us that the Advocate! 2019 conference is a place where everyone feels safe, welcomed, and respected. Code of Conduct
Above all, we ask that all attendees, speakers, sponsors and other guests behave respectfully. Be kind to others and help us make Advocate! a positive experience for everyone in attendance.
The Advocate! 2019 conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.
Conference participants violating these rules may be expelled from the conference without a refund, at the sole discretion of the conference organizers. At our sole discretion, and without refund, conference organizers reserve the right to expel from the conference, and any associated events, anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the conference or any other attendee.

The Calgary Central Library has a number of all gender restrooms around the building. We will provide details and directions in materials available on site.
Advocate! 2019 will have a designated quiet room available for those who wish to take time away from our event. Conference attendees will also be welcome to use this space for prayer and meditation. We will provide details and directions in materials available on site.
